Check the fit
Allow room for two fingers. Recheck fit regularly, especially for growing animals and pets whose coat changes seasonally.
Inspect before use
Check leather, buckle, rings, chains, and crystal attachments. Stop using the piece if any part is loose, cracked, or damaged.
Use species-appropriate hardware.
For cats, choose a safety breakaway buckle where offered. Decorative crystal pieces should not be used in cages or where they may catch on furniture, branches, bars, or equipment. Contact us before ordering for an exotic or unusually small companion so we can assess suitability.
Can a collar connect to a leash?
Only use the designated load-bearing attachment point on styles explicitly described as leash-compatible. Never attach a leash to decorative crystal chains or modules.
